The Butterfly connects People of Determination to the services they need.

Located in Abu Dhabi, our service acts as a one stop shop, the first point of referral, for People of Determination, families and care givers, that are seeking advice, representation and support on how to overcome the challenges they face. 

We inform, support, enable and empower People of Determination in making informed choices, accessing services and participating effectively in the decision-making process on all issues that affect their lives.

The Butterfly is an Advocacy Agency, a guidance centred on the client’s needs.

Our service is independent, impartial and confidential.

The Butterfly is an endorsed social enterprise by Ma’an, the authority of social contribution, and an enabler of the Abu Dhabi disability strategy 2020-2024 with the Department of Community Development, Abu Dhabi. We are an advocacy agency, a guidance centered on the client’s needs.

CRPD
The Butterfly aligns itself with the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD) and the UAE’s National Policy for Empowering People of Determination.
The first UAE employment network member of GBDN, ILO of the UN. 
We play a role in the delivery of sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)SDG on the principle of “leaving no one behind”, Specifically in the parts related to education, growth and employment, inequality, accessibility of human settlements, as well as data collection.
