As March begins, we are excited to share some highlights of what The Butterfly team were up to. Here we would like to provide a spotlight to Raghad Raad Alazzawi, legal research and advocate of The Butterfly. Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and parents involves ensuring they have access to information about their rights, entitlements, and the services available to them.

Raghad, has been actively working to promote inclusive and accessible employment, standing up against discrimination when PwDs face barriers to equitable job opportunities. She has also been providing crucial support to parents struggling to secure school placements for their children. Unfortunately, many families continue to face rejection when trying to enrol their children in education, highlighting the urgent need for stronger advocacy and systemic change. At The Butterfly, we remain committed to breaking down these barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
