Captivating Discussions on Inclusion at ESCWA

On the 26th of February, ESCWA (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia) held a virtual meeting on Promoting the Economic Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities: Success Stories and the Way Forward.

The session featured inspiring discussions on entrepreneurship among Persons with Disabilities, inclusive practices from major corporations, and initiatives supporting inclusive employment, including The Butterfly’s work in this space.

We wish to thank ESCWA and Stephanie Chaban, Ghean EL Sharrkawi and Rania Al Jazairi for inviting the Butterfly to show case the work on supporting companies to enhance practices of inclusion and advocating for inclusive employment. Great to see a strong commitment to advancing economic inclusion
