Driving Innovative Change through Digital Accessibility

Digital accessibility is a major part of technology for no barriers in access and working on information. As part of our aim of driving inclusion in the workplace, we conducted a training session on an introduction to digital accessibility online for Serco Middle East, one of our IEE members.

The session’s objectives included understanding how to set up and navigate accessibility settings across various Microsoft tools, essential for workplace and task management. The attendees also learnt how to create accessible content within Microsoft 365 and Teams alongside gaining tips on how to present keeping in mind inclusion for a diverse audience.

There were 45 attendees, and the session was highly interactive, brimming with enthusiasm for this new but significant aspect of inclusion. They left with new ideas on how to make the workplace better for everyone, all the while understanding more new things about the technology they currently utilize.
