Expanding Horizons: Our Second IEE Meeting in Saudi Arabia

This year, we expanded the IEE’s presence to Saudi Arabia. On January 13, 2025, AtkinsRéalis hosted our second IEE meeting in their Riyadh office, symbolizing the growing scope and influence of our mission. As one of our first members in the Kingdom, AtkinsRéalis together with Serco have played a key role in advancing the IEE’s vision.

The session focused on the first pillar of inclusion: culture, which serves as the foundation for fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment. Beyond its importance for creating a cohesive and sustainable society, the discussion aligned closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives. Attendees delved into the current state of disability inclusion in the Kingdom, reflecting on progress, evolving perceptions, and actionable steps to create a more inclusive culture.

Among the attendees were representatives from various organizations, including Zain Telecom, who brought diverse perspectives to the conversation. Their participation enriched the discussions and underscored the collective commitment to advancing inclusion in Saudi Arabia.

This meeting marks the beginning of a promising chapter for the IEE in the Kingdom. We look forward to strengthening relationships and fostering new connections as we work together to build an inclusive society for all. With this gathering, we’ve set the stage for ongoing collaboration and impactful change in Saudi Arabia.
